Situation. RNTC is the international training center for broadcast and media professionals and is part of Radio Netherlands Worldwide formerly known as Wereldomroep. The training RNTC conducts are set with BBC and NPO skilled storytellers, journalists and media professionals. Being a NGO RNTC looks for new ways to organize and communicatie their training centre.
Approach. For RNTC we developed and produced a new strategy and concept around crowdfunding and we helped with the digital strategy. Starting with a solid information and user research and formulating the goals of RNTC a blueprint was offered, followed by a crowdfunding strategy and the training, engagement, empowering and monitoring 4 media students from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Rwanda and Afghanistan.
Outcome. The campaign led to the complete funding and an award for most popular campaign of 1%Club, one of the 5 selected platforms.
